Welcome to Mewoofie. By accessing our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms under the Information Technology Act, 2000.

  • Eligibility: You must be 18 years or older to hold an account.
  • Content: You retain ownership of your photos, but grant us a license to display them.
  • Prohibited Content: Any content depicting animal cruelty will be reported to authorities immediately under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960.

2. Privacy Policy

We collect the minimum data necessary to function:

  • Personal Data: Name, Email, IP Address.
  • Non-Personal Data: Pet breed, Pet age, Device type.
  • Usage: We do not sell your personal data to third-party data brokers.

3. DPDP Act 2023 Compliance

Mewoofie operates as a Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We are committed to protecting your rights.

Your Rights
  • Right to Access (Section 11): You may request a summary of your data being processed.
  • Right to Correction & Erasure (Section 12): You may delete your account at any time via Profile Settings > Delete Account. This triggers a permanent data wipe.
  • Right to Grievance Redressal (Section 13): You may contact our Data Protection Officer (DPO) for any concerns.
